Aniline Yellow

Aniline Yellow is a yellow azo dye and an aromatic amine. It is a derivative of azobenzene and has the appearance of an orange powder. It is used in the form of its salts as a dye and as an intermediate in manufacture of Acid Yellow, diazo dyes, and indulines. Aniline Yellow is also used in microscopy for vital staining, pyrotechnics for yellow colored smokes, and yellow pigments and inks including inks for inkjet printers.
