Blood-Brain Barrier Immortalized Rat Brain Vascular Endothelial Cells (GPNT)
Blood-brain Barrier Immortalized Rat Brain Vascular Endothelial Cells (GPNT) from Ace Therapeutics are derived from microvessels in the cerebral cortex. The cells are immortalized by lipofection using an SV40 retroviral vector with a temperature-sensitive large T antigen (tsA58). GPNT exhibits a non-transformed phenotype. Each vial contains at least 1×10^6 cells per ml and is delivered frozen.
