Recombinant Mouse Antibody (57-2) is capable of binding to E2 (17beta-estradiol), expressed in Chinese Hamster Ovary cells (CHO). The antibody 57-2 recognizes a hydrophobic hapten 17 β-estradiol by buring it in a deep nonpolar cleft.
