(S)-6-Hydroxybuspirone hydrochloride
A major active metabolite of Buspirone and a 5-HT1A partial agonist. In comparison with the (R)-enantiomer, (S)-6-Hydroxybuspirone hydrochloride is cleared more slowly from blood and has lower affinity and selectivity for the 5HT1A receptor.
