| Application | This reduces waste and makes the handling easier whenever the application allows venting under non-sterile conditions. In addition the non-sterile filters can be assembled and sterilised by the user. The hydrophobic PES membrane functions as a water barrier and does not become wetted by aerosols. This keeps the hydrophobic venting filter permeable for gas or air! The housing of the filter is made of gamma-sterilisable PP (polypropylene) which is compatibility with harsh gases. |
