Uronate dehydrogenase from Agrobacterium tumefaciens, Recombinant

In enzymology, an uronate dehydrogenase (EC 1.1.1.203) is an enzyme that catalyzes the chemical reaction: D-galacturonate + NAD+ + H2O → D-galactarate + NADH + H+. The 3 substrates of this enzyme are D-galacturonate, NAD+, and H2O, whereas its 3 products are D-galactarate, NADH, and H+. This enzyme belongs to the family of oxidoreductases, specifically those acting on the CH-OH group of donor with NAD+ or NADP+ as acceptor.
