GRP (porcine)

GRP (porcine) is a mammalian bombesin-like peptide neurotransmitter that acts as an agonist for the gastrin-releasing peptide receptor (GRPR). It was shown to activate GABAergic interneurons in the amygdala resulting in an increase in GABA release and fear suppression in mice in vivo.
