3-(2-Pyridyl)-2-propen-1-ol
3-(2-Pyridinyl)-2-propen-1-ol can be used in the preparation of quinolizinones via palladium-catalyzed dearomative cyclocarbonylation of azaarene-substituted allylamines with carbon monoxide. It may also be useful in the preparation of 2-[1-(substituted phenyl)-1-methoxypropyl]thiazoles and analogs as selective 5-lipoxygenase (5-LO) inhibitors.
