Cyclic phosphatidic acid (cPA) is a natural analogue of growth factor-like phospholipid mediator, lysophosphatidic acid (LPA). CPA affects many cellular functions, including anti-mitotic regulation of the cell cycle, induction of stressfiber formation, inhibition of tumor cell invasion and metastasis, and regulation of neuronal cell differentiation and survival.
