Tempcarboxylate-15N is the labelled isotope of Tempcarboxylate, a nitroxide and derivative of TEMPO (T017850). Tempcarboxylate is efficient in protecting model compounds and human serum albumin from nitration by HSA and preventing loss of fluorescein fluorescence caused by peroxynitrite. Tempcarboxylate can electrocatalytically oxidize alcohols.
