1-Phenylpyrazole (CAS# 1126-00-7) is an intermediate used to prepare heterocyclic sulfonamide γ-secretase inhibitors. It is also used in the synthesis of a 2-oxindole scaffold as a highly potent and brain-penetrant phosphodiesterase 10A inhibitor.
