5-Bromo-2-(2-methyl-2H-tetrazol-5-yl)-pyridine
5-Bromo-2-(2-methyl-2H-tetrazol-5-yl)-pyridine (CAS# 380380-64-3) is a reagent in the synthesis and structure-activity relationship studies of highly potent novel benzoxazinyl-oxazolidinone which is an antibacterial agent. Benzoxazinyl-oxazolidinone had potent activity against Gram-positive pathogens. 5-Bromo-2-(2-methyl-2H-tetrazol-5-yl)pyridine is also an intermediate in the synthesis of Tedizolid (T013750).
