CGP 52411, also called DAPH, inhibits and reverses the formation of Aβ42 fibers (β-sheet content of aggregated β-amyloid (1-42): IC50 = 4.5 µM) in neurons associated with Alzheimer's disease. And it is also a selective inhibitor of the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) (IC50 = 0.3 μM in vitro).
