M-TriLYS
M-TriLYS is a muropeptide released by Lactobacillus salivarus after the digestion of its peptidoglycan (PGN). M-TriLYS can be sensed by NOD2 and induce NF-κB activation. M-TriLYS produces the anti-inflammatory cytokine IL-10 and has a protective effect against colitis in mice.
