Human Anti-HIV-1 gp120 Recombinant Antibody (clone 12A21)
Recombinant Human Antibody (12A21) is capable of binding to HIV-1 gp120, expressed in HEK 293 cells. Expressed as the combination of a heavy chain (HC) containing VH from anti-HIV-1 gp120 mAb and CH1-3 region of human IgG and a light chain (LC) encoding VL from anti-HIV-1 gp120 proteins mAb and CL of human light chain. Exists as a disulfide linked dimer of the HC and LC hetero-dimer under non-reducing condition. The antibodies with limited neutralizing activity included antibodies recognizing the CD4 binding site (CD4bs; 6–187, 9–913, 11–989), the core epitope (1–479, 2–491, 11–591), the V3-loop (447-52D, 10–188) and the CD4-induced site (17b).
