Barminomycin I is produced by the strain of Actinomadura roseoviolacea and A. carminata. I and II showed strong inhibition of P388 leukemia cells with IC50 of about 0.00001 and 0.00002 g/mL, respectively (reference Doxorubicin of 0.013 g/mL).
