Tobramycin-[13C6]
Tobramycin-[13C6] is a labelled analogue of Tobramycin which is an aminoglycoside antibiotic derived from Streptomyces tenebrarius that is used to treat various types of bacterial infections, particularly Gram-negative infections. It is especially effective against species of Pseudomonas. Stable isotope labeled Tobramycin is intended for use as an internal standard for the quantification of Tobramycin by LC or GC-mass spectrometry, an alternative to immunoassay based quantification.
