1,2-Diamino-4,5-dimethoxybenzene Hydrochloride is the salt form of 1,2-Diamino-4,5-dimethoxybenzene (D416425), which reacts with aldehydes to produce highly fluorescent benzimidazole derivatives. It can be used for the detection of aldehydes as well as DTAN.
