ZZL-7
ZZL-7 produces an antidepressant effect by disrupting the interaction between the serotonin transporter (SERT) and neuronal nitric oxide synthase (nNOS) in the dorsal raphe nucleus (DRN), which in turn, enhances serotonin signaling. ZZL-7 shows promise as a potential fast-acting treatment major depressive disorder.
