Galphimine B is a nor-seco-triterpenoid from Galphimia glauca. Sedative effect, has Sedative effect. Galphimine B modulates synaptic transmission on dopaminergic ventral tegmental area neurons. GB modifies synaptic activity on dopaminergic VTA neurons by a non-GABAergic mechanism.
