Pleurain-C1 antimicrobial peptide
It is an antimicrobial peptide found in Rana pleuraden (Yunnan pond frog). It has antibacterial activity against gram-negative bacteria Escherichia coli (MIC=50 μg/ml) and gram-positive bacteria Staphylococcus aureus (MIC=6.3 μg/ml), Bacillus subtilis (MIC=3.1 μg/ml), and has anti-yeast activity against Candida albicans (MIC=25 μg/ml).
