Recombinant Human monoclonal antibody expressed in CHO binding to Human IAPP. The antibodiess specific for IAPP are used for the treatment and diagnosis of diseases from the group of Diabetes mellitus diseases, comprising type 1 diabetes (T1D), gestational diabetes, pre-diabetes, latent autoimmune diabetes of adults (LAD A; type 1, 5 diabetes) and/or type 2 diabetes (T2D).
