TrypLE Express is a recombinant enzyme derived from animal-free sources, designed for dissociating various adherent mammalian cells such as CHO, HEK 293, A549, primary human keratinocytes, and embryonic stem cells. It cleaves peptide bonds on the C-terminal sides of lysine and arginine, serving as a direct substitute for trypsin. Its high purity enhances specificity and minimizes potential cell damage associated with impurities found in certain trypsin preparations.
