The Mapk8 gene is located on mouse chromosome 14. Twelve exons are identified, with the ATG start codon in exon 2 and the TGA stop codon in exon 12. Exon 3~7 will be selected as target site. Cas9 and gRNA will be co-injected into fertilized eggs for KO mouse production.
