GTPαS sodium salt

GTPαS sodium salt is a modified form of guanosine triphosphate (GTP) where one of the non-bridging oxygen atoms at the α-phosphate position is replaced by a sulfur atom. This modification makes GTPαS resistant to hydrolysis by GTPases, allowing it to act as a non-hydrolyzable analog of GTP. It is commonly used in studies of G-protein signaling, enzymatic regulation, and molecular biology research. The sodium salt form improves its solubility and stability for experimental applications.
