Schisantherin A (Gomisin C, Schisanwilsonin H, Arisanschinin K) is a dibenzocyclooctadiene that exhibits anti-tussive, sedative, anti-inflammatory, anti-osteoporotic, neuroprotective, cognition enhancing, and cardioprotective activities.
