Okadaic acid is a non-comepetitive, selective and reversible serine/threonine-specific protein phosphatases 1 (PP1), PP2A and PP3 inhibitor with IC50s of 10-15 nM, 0.5 nM and 4 nM, respectively.[1][2] Okadaic acid eliminate metazoan symbionts/parasites by apoptosis[3]. |
