Eptifibatide acetate
Eptifibatide acetate, an antiplatelet drug of the glycoprotein IIb/IIIa inhibitor class, is a cyclic heptapeptide constructed from 6 amino acids and a mercaptopropionyl residue. It reversibly binds to platelets to reduce the risk of cardiac ischemic events.
