Methyltetrazine-PEG24-Acid is an aqueous soluble, monodisperse PEG reagent containing a click chemitstry group and terminal carboxylic acid. The acid (CO2H) can react with primary amine groups in the presence of activators (e.g. EDC, or HATU) to form a stable amide bond. electron-donating properties of the methyl group enhances the stability of methyltetrazine-PEG4-Acid.
