DSPE-PEG-CH2COOH, MW 3,400 is a phospholipid polyPEG. The lipid tails can be used to encapuslate hydrophobic drugs, while the PEG chain maintains its water solubuility. The polymer is useful for preparation of liposomes or other nanoparticles in drug nanocarrier applications.
