Gum Arabic
Gum Arabic (or acacia gum), CAS 9000-01-5, is a complex mixture of glycoproteins and 15 initially isolated from two species of the acacia tree, available as off-white to yellowish granular or powder. Gum Arabic is mainly used as stabilizer in food industry. It is widely accepted as safe food additive in many countries with E number E414.
