ALB 109564(a) dihydrochloride
ALB 109564(a) is a Tubulin inhibitor as a semi-synthetic derivative of the vinka alkaloid originated by AMRI. It can bind to tubulin monomers and inhibit microtubule formation, this leads to the disruption of mitotic spindle assembly and arrest of tumor cells in the G2/M phase of the cell cycle. Phase I clinical trials for Solid tumours is on going.
