DAPT
DAPT is a γ-secretase inhibitor, which consequently inhibits Notch, a substrate of γ-secretase. Other substrates of γ-secretase include LDL receptor-related protein, E-cadherin, and ErbB-4. By targeting γ-secretase, DAPT is valuable for studying β-amyloid (Aβ) formation.
In various studies, DAPT has demonstrated efficacy in inhibiting Notch signaling, contributing to research on autoimmune and lymphoproliferative disorders such as ALPS and systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Additionally, DAPT shows potential in inhibiting cancer cell growth, angiogenesis, and influencing the differentiation of human induced pluripotent stem cells (hIPSCs).
