Co 102862, also known as V102862, an orally active anticonvulsant with robust activity, is a potent, broad-spectrum state-dependent inhibitor of mammalian voltage-gated Na+ channels with ~ 80-fold higher affinity for inactivated Na+ channels compared to channels in the resting state.
