Adropin (34-76) (human, mouse, rat)

Adropin, a secreted factor involved in energy homeostasis and lipid metabolism, is encoded by the energy homeostasis-related gene (Enho) and expressed in the liver and brain. In diet-induced obesity (DIO) mice, adropin (34-76) reduced hepatosteatosis and insulin resistance, regardless of obesity or food intake. In addition, adropin could be a regulator of endothelial function.
