(R)-7-(Prop-1-en-2-yl)-3,4,5,6,7,8-hexahydronaphthalen-1(2H)-one is an intermediate in the synthesis of β-Selinene, (~90%) (S253185) which is a natural product found in essential oils from variety of plants. It is a functional antioxidant with antiradical and antimicrobial properties.
