MRS 2957 triethylammonium salt 7 is a selective P2Y6 receptor agonists (EC50 = 12 nM) for the treatment of muscle wasting and neurodegeneration. It exhibits 14- and 66-fold selectivity against P2Y2 and P2Y4 receptors respectively.
