Somatostatin monoacetate
Somatostatin monoacetate is a peptide hormone. It regulates the endocrine system and affects neurotransmission and cell proliferation by interaction with G protein-coupled somatostatin receptors and inhibition of the release of numerous secondary hormones. It inhibits insulin and glucagon secretion.
