LW479
LW479 is a HDAC inhibitor with marked cytotoxicity leading to apoptosis and cell cycle arrest in a panel of breast cancer cell lines. LW479 silences EGFR expression in breast cancer cells via inhibiting Sp1 and HDAC1 binding to EGFR promoter, and blocks EGF/EGFR signaling pathway and EGF-stimulated motility.
