ZSTK474
ZSTK474 is a novel oral specific inhibitor of phosphoinositide 3-kinase that can strongly inhibit cancer cell proliferation. Combined treatment with X-rays followed by oral administration of ZSTK474 starting 24 hours after irradiation and continuing for 8 days significantly enhanced cell growth inhibition.
