Apoptone

Apoptone is an orally bioavailable adrenal steroid analog with potential anti-tumor activity. In vitro and in vivo studies have shown that the drug inhibits the growth of androstenediol-dependent LNCaP cell tumors. In addition, Apoptone can also enhance the effect of chemotherapy drugs by downregulating ABCG2.
