This product is a recombinant mouse anti-HIV-1 monoclonal antibody. BAT123 specifically binds to CD4 binding site of gp120 and can be potentially used in the treatment of acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS), a condition in humans characterized by clinical features including wasting syndromes, central nervous system degeneration and profound immunosuppression that results in life-threatening opportunistic infections and malignancies.
