PDLIM2 Full-Length MS Protein Standard (NP_067643), Labeled with [U- 13C6, 15N4]-L-Arginine and [U- 13C6, 15N2]-L-Lysine, was produced in human 293 cells (HEK293) with fully chemically defined cell culture medium to obtain incorporation efficiency at Creative-Proteomics. This gene encodes a member of the ALP subfamily of PDZ-LIM domain proteins. The encoded protein suppresses anchorage-dependent growth and promotes cell migration and adhesion through interactions with the actin cytoskeleton via the PDZ domain. The encoded protein is also a putative tumor suppressor protein, and decreased expression of this gene is associated with several malignancies including breast cancer and adult T-cell leukemia. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding multiple isoforms have been observed for this gene.
